What is DR IDR Candles?

DR IDR Candles plots the Dealing Range (DR) and Implied Dealing Range (IDR) created during selected sessions. DR uses candle highs and lows for the outer range, while IDR uses candle bodies for a narrower inner range.
Horizontal boundaries, colored expansion areas, and gray session highlights keep the calculation window and the subsequent direction visible on one chart.
How to use DR IDR Candles

First confirm that the regular or overnight session times and UTC offset match your broker. After the range is complete, monitor whether price accepts above it, expands below it, or returns through the boundaries.
Blue areas indicate expansion above the reference range and orange areas indicate expansion below it. These colors are context—not trade signals. Use candle behavior on a retest, recent swing structure, and the higher-timeframe bias to judge whether a breakout is holding.
Where it helps
Gray highlights show exactly when each DR/IDR is formed.
Outer DR and inner IDR levels can be displayed together.
Colored areas make direction outside the range immediately visible.
