What is Fibo_retrace Indicator?

Fibo_retrace is an MT5 chart indicator that draws Fibonacci retracement-style levels from selected recent swings. The visible lines organize ratios and their related labels without requiring repeated manual drawing.
The levels provide a consistent visual grid for comparing current price with recent swing structure. They are displayed references and do not establish where price will react.
How to Use It in Practice

Identify the blue high-low anchors first, then read the four Fibonacci lines drawn from that selected swing range:
- Compare the 50% and 61.8% lines with the surrounding swing while retaining the original high-low anchors on the chart.
- Check the drawing direction: it draws from the high in an upward trend and from the low in a downward trend.
- Use pastbars to change how many previous candles are used to find the high and low.
- Keep the level layout as a nearby-area map rather than reducing it to an exact-touch rule.
Fibonacci-style references are drawn automatically, labels keep the ratios visible, and display settings support different chart layouts.
MT5 Indicator Parameters

The screenshot above shows the default input parameters in the MT5 settings window.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| pastbars | Defines how many bars back the indicator looks when determining the latest swing high and swing low. Increasing this value makes it detect larger swings, while lowering it makes it react to smaller and more recent movements. |
