What is Keltner Channels?

Keltner Channels displays three lines: a middle moving average and two channel boundaries. The boundaries are ATR-based, giving the chart a visual range that expands or contracts with recent movement.
The indicator is a chart overlay for reviewing price location relative to the middle line and the two outer bands.
How to use Keltner Channels
Review the middle line as the central reference and compare the outer bands with recent candle ranges. Wider spacing indicates a broader displayed channel, while narrower spacing shows a more compressed view.
The package exposes one period input. Adjust period to compare a shorter or longer averaging window, then review the resulting line placement in the surrounding chart context.
Where it helps
The middle line and two outer boundaries remain visible in one overlay.
ATR-based spacing provides a visual record of recent movement conditions.
Only one period parameter is available.
